The great surfing adventure!

Hola! 
   

 Today Mollie and I completed the first task on our Great Halifax Bucket List! We went surfing in a small place called Lawrence Town. 

As much as I want to be like Kate Bosworth in Blue Crush I have come to the conclusion that it is much more difficult to be like her in Canada.

The waves were rough and the sky was a steely gray. After a 50 minute bus ride the wet suit came on and we were in the waves( with limited instruction). Mollie managed to stand up, where as I decided to specialize in wave jumping and body surfing.

By the end of the day both of us had a very through saline rinse and a thirst for hot chocolate. This being said it was an awesome time!

So number 1 on the bucket list is planned and ready to go! 

We're ready to go surfing on 30th September with the Frosh of Dal thanks to the DSU at Lawrencetown beach and we're soooo excited!

The Beginnings

Hi everyone! 

Our names are Shannon  and Mollie and we have just started our first year at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As we both come from outside Nova Scotia (Shannon from Calgary and me,Mollie, from Lincolnshire, England,) we wanted to fully make the most if our four years here and so we decided to create a university bucket list! Each time we complete something we'll post a blog with pictures!
